I am an American who began visiting the Philippines in 1992. Ten years later, in January, I moved to the Philippines to begin a new life. Shortly after arriving in Cebu, I began assisting others who wanted to visit or relocate to the Philippines, as I had done before them.

This site will provide you, the visitor, with unbiased, factual information on various places I have personally stayed, and how I rate each location. Some places have been quite nice, while others have been more simple, yet still clean and reasonably priced.

Do note that, even if a resort is more simple, only offering few amenities and services for its clientele, this does not mean it will get a bad review.  I rate individual resorts on what they do offer, including the ambience, as that is often all what a guest may seek. In fact, I often appreciate staying in a more simple location while going around the country.

My rating will be an overall score, on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best.

Note: All reviews are from my personal experience and are unbiased. I will not review a hotel or resort if the owner / manager wants a guaranteed "positive" review.
